1. The service

simpleCV ("we", "us") provides an online tool to create, edit and download CVs (résumés), optional cloud storage when you register, and related help content (for example blog articles). Using the website and the application implies acceptance of these terms.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You agree to use simpleCV only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

• Do not attempt to compromise security, overload systems, or scrape the service at scale.
• Do not use the service to generate false identity documents, impersonate others, or mislead employers.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter in your CV.

3. Accounts

Registration may be optional depending on the feature. You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials confidential. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [email protected], as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Payments (Premium)

If we offer paid features, payment may be processed by Stripe. Prices and features are shown before purchase. Unless stated otherwise, digital delivery occurs when payment is confirmed. For billing or refund questions, contact [email protected].

5. Intellectual property

The software, templates, design, and branding of simpleCV are protected. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the outputs (e.g. PDF) you generate for your own job applications. You may not resell our templates as a stand-alone product or redistribute the application code.

6. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee a job interview or hiring outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of opportunity arising from use of the service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms or the product. We will indicate the update date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rules in your country of residence. Contact: [email protected].
